Hey guys, I'm running my own fantasy baseball league this year on Yahoo for a $100 entry. Normally I play a $50 one with a friend every year but we generally only payout the top 4 of 12 players. In the $100 league I'm hosting however, I advertised that this league will have a lot less variance in that the top 8 players will all get funds back, even if it is below their original $100 buyin. I'm hoping to keep people more active throughout the year by doing this as each place they jump up above 8th place, they are improving their payout.
So what I need to think of now, is a good payout structure to payout 100% of the funds to the top 8 out of 12 players. So to start off, if I award 1st place at 40% which is $480, that only leaves 60% and $720 total left to payout the remaining 7 players. You get the drift, now I just need a payout structure. |

Thanks for the help guys.... NOT
These aren't official but they more than likely will be this year. What I've came up with so far is this: Place - % - $ Value 1 - 30 - 360 2 - 21 - 252 3 - 15 - 180 4 - 10 - 120 5 - 9 - 108 6 - 7 - 84 7 - 5 - 60 8 - 3 - 36 |
